Start the Holiday Season with a Classic Lakeway Tradition
There is no better way to kick off the holidays than at Lights On! at the City Hall in Lakeway! This event marks the beginning of the holiday season in Lakeway with the first lighting of the Trail of Lights behind City Hall. Join us on Friday December 2nd from 6-8pm at City Hall and have fun decorating cookies, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and playing the newest addition of Reindeer Games. Teen Read Week Art Exhibit at Lake Travis Library
In November and December the Lake Travis Community Library will display artwork from the annual Teen Read Week Art Contest, a competition where participants were invited to create an original piece of art inspired by their personal reading experiences. The exhibit will include the six award-winning entries and five honorable mentions. “We are absolutely amazed by the creativity and quality of the entries again this year. Kudos to all the young artists who participated.” – Judges Ben Kuenemann, Ann Neighbors, and Pam Sachant. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, cash prizes were awarded to the winners.
