When: April 19, 2024 – April 21, 2024 all-day Where: Lakeway Activity Center ART WALK WEATHER UPDATE: Due to potential rainy weather conditions, we regret to inform everyone that the Friday night concert under the stars featuring the Christian Wiggs Sextet and the outdoor Saturday Art Walk at the Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden and Hamilton Greenbelt have been cancelled. However, the weekend doesn’t end there! The Studio Tours and off-site exhibitions will still be happening as planned on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, offering you a chance to explore the creativity of local artists in their studios. Synopsis: Two established playwrights hoping to refresh their careers take their show on the road. Or, rather, on the high seas, along with their two established stars. Sing Along Workshop
When: January 10, 2019 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Where: Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, TX 78734 Join the Lakeway Sing Along group of approximately 80 men and women from the Lakeway area who enjoy singing and performing. They meet regularly at the Lakeway Activity Center on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. They perform twice annually, a Spring show series (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) and a Christmas show (2 performances on Sunday).

A Look Back at the Arts in Lakeway
Here is a brief history of the Lakeway Arts Committee. December 20, 1999: Arts Committee established by Resolution No. 99-12-20-4, signed by Lakeway Mayor Charles Edwards. 2000 January: Committee members (9) were appointed by the Mayor, with George Blume as Chairman. First concert on May 21, 2000: A Gershwin program with a singer and pianist. No cost. Based upon this favorable experience, the series of evening and Sunday Concerts began. Requested funding for Boston Baby Grand Piano by Steinway; granted by Lakeway Civic Corporation May: George Blume was elected to the City Council; Fred Newton was appointed Chair of Arts Committee. 2001 January & February: Brown Bag Luncheon Concerts began.…

All You Need is Love
Lakeway Sing Along returns to the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek) this April with the glories and heartbreaks of love in a two-night dinner and musical event titled, “All You Need Is Love.” The performances will take place April 29 and April 30, and will begin with dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by performances at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $38 and will go on sale March 21 for Lakeway Activity Center members.
