Lake Travis Film Festival Focuses on Opening Night
Lubbock native Kat Albert didn’t set out to be a filmmaker and certainly not the founder of this weekend’s inaugural Lake Travis Film Festival. Years ago, the former advertising agency owner said she was at a crossroads on what to do next after selling her company. Spending the following year writing seven screenplays, Albert realized none of them would be turned into a production unless she learned how to make films. The greater Lakeway community is invited to the 2020 Youth Art Month Exhibition at the Lake Travis Community Library on display from March 2 through March 29, 2020. The exhibition is hosted by the City of Lakeway’s Art Committee in partnership with the Lake Travis Community Library. It will feature artwork from Lake Travis ISD elementary students.
