Calling all art enthusiasts! Are you passionate about the vibrant arts scene in the Lakeway area? Do you enjoy giving back to the community? If so, volunteering for a local arts event might be the perfect fit for you!
There are many ways to get involved, regardless of your experience or skillset. Here are a few ideas:
- – Be a Festival Fanatic: Help out at one of our many local art festivals – like the Lakeway Art Walk, Lakeway Photo Festival, Women in Art Exhibition, Cool Arts Show, and more! Tasks could include setting up booths, carrying art, helping with setup and teardown, managing kids crafts, serving refreshments, assisting with artist registration, or even being a friendly face welcoming attendees.
- – Gallery Guru: Lend your time to our local art galleries. You could help with art hanging, serving refreshments, docent tours, or even assist with event planning.
- – Performance Pro: Show your support for live performances! Volunteer at dance, theater or a music performances by ushering, helping with setup and teardown, or assisting backstage.
