Explore Undulating Fields in Painted Landscapes this April
Local artist Jay Ohlrich will exhibit his oil painting at the Lake Travis Community Library in April. Jay works with bronze, clay, paint, gold, and silver to create his unique paintings and sculptures. His exhibit will feature a collection of oil landscapes on canvas which were inspired by his love of the rolling Midwest and Western topography. Enchanting Animals at Lake Travis Library
During the month of October, local artist Georgia Hagan’s realistic animal portraits are on display at the Lake Travis Community Library (LTCL). Georgia’s love of art blossomed while taking lessons at a local Tulsa art museum in her teens. She attended the University of Tulsa, where she met her husband, Marvin. After many years, they moved to Lakeway together and that’s when she began to paint in earnest again. Georgia became a part of the Lakeway Painters in 2015 and quickly discovered that she enjoys creating animal portraits and looking for ways to make her paintings more lifelike. 2022 Cool Arts Show puts Lakeway Artists in the Spotlight

The City of Lakeway presents the Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour
Don’t miss the Cool Arts Show this Saturday from 12-5 pm at the Lakeway Activity Center! The City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents this family friendly event which features live music by Christian Wiggs Trio and fine visual arts created by many Lakeway-area artists. Art available for sale includes paintings, jewelry and pottery. There will also be a variety of children’s activities including face painting and arts projects. Three food trucks will also be outside the show on Saturday, including Evil Wiener, Craig O’s, and Kona Ice.
