Join us on Saturday August 26th as the City of Lakeway Arts Committee and the 2023 Cool Arts Show present the talented Christian Wiggs Trio! Join Us for Jazz & Art at the Lakeway Photo Festival Reception!
Join us for a jazzy celebration of all the talented local photographers who entered the 21st Annual Lakeway Photo Festival this year! There were 164 beautiful photographs entered from 54 talented local Lakeway photographers. On Sunday June 11th at 4pm, Lakeway photographers, friends, and families are invited to attend the 21st Lakeway Photo Festival Awards Reception where the winners and honorable mentions will be announced. All are welcome to enjoy an arts filled afternoon admiring the outstanding winning photos while listening to live jazz and enjoying cookies and refreshments. Awards reception will be held at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek). See you there!

Arts in the Afternoon: Lakeway Masterpiece Concert No. 3
Join us on Sunday May 21st when classical music resonates once again at Masterpiece Concert No. 3 from 4-5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center. Founding musicians Andrew and Sari Pearce, along with professional orchestra guest musicians, will perform some of the most beautiful classical music ever written. At this Masterpiece Concert No. 3 in the Masterpiece Concert Series, the program will feature violins, viola, cello and piano to perform Franz Schubert’s String Quartet No. 13 in A Minor, “Rosemunde” and Antonin Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major, Op 81. Discover the Ancient Lyrical Music of the Kora
Sean Gaskell will give a performance and educational demonstration on the West African kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa at the Lake Travis Community Library on February 17th from from 3-4pm. He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions. The concert is free and all ages are welcome! The Kora is native to the Mande peoples who live within the countries of Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Guinea, and Guinea Bissau.
