Break out your Broom for the Witches Ride, Roll and Stroll
Join another fun and spooky Witches Ride, Roll and Stroll on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Bring your bicycles, tricycles, unicycles, skates, scooters, wheelchairs, golf carts, wagons, and plain ol’ walking feet to the Live Oak golf course driving range to participate in the parade. Parks & Recreation will provide streamers, glow sticks, and tape to decorate your wheels for the “flight” down Lakeway Drive! Old Fashioned 4th of July Parades through Lakeway
Independence Day is the City of Lakeway’s biggest celebration of the year and is famous for its classic, old fashioned 4th of July parade. This year there are activities for the whole family. There is a patriotic themed Rhythms & Reels event Friday July 1st evening at City Park, the Lakeway 4th of July Parade on Monday morning, followed by a Hot Dog Reception provided by HEB Lakeway at the Lakeway Activity Center, and a special $4 entry fee at the Swim Center all day on July 4th! Grab your baskets and come down to Lakeway City Park (502 Hurst Creek Road) to celebrate Spring with the City’s annual Eggstravaganza! The event will kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 with vendors, Lakeway bunny photos and chalk art competitions. Then, between 2:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., special age-specific egg hunts will take place. Each hunt will also feature a ‘golden egg’ with a special prize inside. Movies in the Park Returns in 2022
Movies In the Park is an annual family friendly spring and summer time film screening series presented at Lakeway City Park. Movies are FREE to the public, located on the lower level of Lakeway City Park and will begin at dusk – approximately 6:30pm in the spring (summer at 8:45pm). Free popcorn and other treats for purchase will be available. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to set up at our ‘Theater Under the Stars‘ featuring our NEW LED screen.
