Inaugural Photography Exhibit Captures the Strength of Women
The Lakeway Arts District presents “Women in Photography”, a special photo exhibition celebrating Women’s History Month from March 1st – March 30th at the Lake Travis Community Library. This creative exhibit includes dramatic photos both by women photographers and portraits of women taken by local photographers. The exhibit was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality. We invite you to join us at the Artists Reception on March 9th from 1:30-3pm. The Lakeway Arts District and Bee Cave Arts Foundation present “Women in Art 2024”, a special two month-long art exhibition celebrating Women’s History from February 3rd – March 22nd at the The Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria. This creative exhibit showcasing a diverse array of paintings, drawings, sculptures, mixed media, and fiber arts by 68 local women artists was inspired by women’s history, health, beauty, motherhood and equality.
