Arts in the Afternoon 2025: Music, Dance and More
Throughout the year, the City of Lakeway Arts committee presents “Arts in the Afternoon” a series of arts events from various talented and local performers. Performances include local musicians, bands, classical chamber music, dance and more. Most performances are held at the Lakeway Activity Center located at 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, TX (unless otherwise noted). All performances are free and open to the public. From Saudi Arabia to Austin: An Artist’s Global Vision
Self-taught artist Guy Burchak’s diverse work is shaped by a lifetime of global travel. His artistic talent, recognized early, led him to study at the Art Instruction School, Fleming College (Florence), and Parsons (New York). Four decades as a corporate artist, especially in the Middle East and Europe, further enriched his experience. Burchak’s creative journey spans disciplines from architectural design to painting, drawing, illustration, and sculpture, honed in various settings from studios to computer labs.
