The City of Lakeway presents the Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour
Don’t miss the Cool Arts Show this Saturday from 12-5 pm at the Lakeway Activity Center! The City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents this family friendly event which features live music by Christian Wiggs Trio and fine visual arts created by many Lakeway-area artists. Art available for sale includes paintings, jewelry and pottery. There will also be a variety of children’s activities including face painting and arts projects. Three food trucks will also be outside the show on Saturday, including Evil Wiener, Craig O’s, and Kona Ice. Chill out this Summer at the Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour
The Lakeway Arts Committee is hosting its annual Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour. The event features live music by Christian Wiggs Trio (1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) in the Lakeway Activity Center courtyard, and fine visual arts created by around 20 Lakeway-area artists. Art available includes paintings, jewelry and pottery. There will also be a variety of children’s activities for kiddos to check out, including face painting and arts projects. Travel the World in Watercolors
This month at the Lake Travis Community Library, don’t miss the travel inspired watercolor paintings of local artist Ben Kuenemann. Ben was born in El Paso and grew up in Houston. He attended San Jacinto High School and is a proud member of the dwindling “Band of Brothers” Class of 1954, former San Jacinto football players. He went on to attend UT, graduating with a degree in Engineering in 1959. Ben and his wife of 62 years, Sylvia, retired to their dream home in Lakeway in 1996. If you are an artist living in the Lakeway, TX area we invite you to submit your work for consideration for an exhibit at the City of Lakeway Art Gallery, located inside City Hall at 1102 Lohmans Crossing Rd, Lakeway, TX 78734.
