Local artist and Lake Travis Community Library volunteer Carol van Ginkel will exhibit her embroidery artwork during the month of January. Carol grew up in Pittsburgh where her grandmother introduced her to embroidery. After she got the hang of it, she tried new ideas by searching for images that she wanted to “paint” in threads.
