Lakeway’s Halloween Drive Thru Boo!
The City of Lakeway’s Parks & Recreation Department has a special treat planned for little goblins just in time for Halloween – a socially distanced and family friendly event will help lift your Halloween spirits! On October 30 (Halloween Eve) starting at 7 p.m., a special Drive Thru Boo! event will allow you and your family to drive the Boo Trail to three city locations to trick-or-treat through a special spooky drive-thru service. Zombie Invasion at Star Hill Ranch
Lake Travis Film Festival (LTFF) is hosting an outdoor film screening at Star Hill Ranch (15000 Hamilton Pool Road – map) on October 29 starting at 6 p.m. of the 2009 movie “Zombieland“ a 2009 American post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin as survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Please be aware the film is Rated R. This is not just any spooky film screening! It will also feature a costume contest along with food and beverages. The Hive Reopens
Please join to celebrate the reopening of The Hive in Bee Cave Friday October 16th from 6-8pm and enjoy the first sneak peak at The Bees of Bee Cave. The colony of giant bee sculptures will be making their outdoor debut at The Hill Country Galleria later this year but a few of them have landed in The Hive for your viewing pleasure. Congratulations to the talented local artists chosen to represent their work for The Bees of Bee Cave outdoor sculptures. The Bees of Bee Cave is an outdoor public art project sponsored by the Bee Cave Arts Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with the mission to improve the quality of life in our community and enhance the experience of visitors by bringing awareness, education and integration of a wide range of art throughout public spaces.
