The City of Lakeway Arts Committee presents the 2023 Cool Arts Show and Studio Tour on August 26 from 1-5pm at the Lakeway Activity Center. This year the annual party has expanded to an unique arts festival chock full of live music and kids activities. The Studio Tour will take place on August 26th and 27th from 1-5pm at various artist studios in Lakeway. You won’t want to miss it! Songs to Smile about at the Lakeway Sing Along
Would you like to brighten your day? Join the Lakeway Sing Along as they perform a musical inventory of classic songs of the many things we can smile about! The Lakeway Sing Along will present their 22nd annual spring music show, “Come On, Get Happy” at the Lakeway Activity Center on April 28-29. Doors open for these dinner show performances at 6pm, dinner served at 6:30, with the show following. BYOB and tables of 8 and 10 are available. Explore Undulating Fields in Painted Landscapes this April
Local artist Jay Ohlrich will exhibit his oil painting at the Lake Travis Community Library in April. Jay works with bronze, clay, paint, gold, and silver to create his unique paintings and sculptures. His exhibit will feature a collection of oil landscapes on canvas which were inspired by his love of the rolling Midwest and Western topography. In keeping with the theme of Women’s History Month at the Lake Travis Community Library, join us for a virtual talk on March 28th at 1pm by Dr Pam Sachant PhD when she will focus on several American women artists working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries at the time of the Suffragist Movement in the US.
